What brings people in
Most of these are secondary conditions (symptoms): often the result of a structural shift sitting somewhere else. Where it hurts and where the problem sits are frequently not the same level, and that gap is the entire reason the analysis comes first.

Why structure matters
There is a normal
Your body has a normal temperature, a normal blood pressure, a normal range of eyesight. Medicine measures against normals every day, and the spine has one too: head over shoulders, shoulders over pelvis, every segment carrying its share.
A spine that moves away from that normal has a structural shift. The shift is the primary problem. The neck pain, the headaches, the numb hand: those are secondary conditions, and quieting them down without addressing the shift underneath tends to be temporary work.

Our focus
Find the shift. Correct it.
Neuro-Structural Correction is the focus of this practice, and the Gonstead analysis is how the shift gets found: five layers, run at every visit, starting at the pelvis, since the pelvis is the foundation everything above it is standing on.
Structure dictates function. A building is only as strong as its foundation, and a body with an unlevel one compensates the whole way up.
How the method works
Visualization
How you stand, walk, and carry yourself. It starts the moment you come through the door.
Instrumentation
A nervoscope pass down the spine, reading temperature side to side. A sharp break flags a level worth a closer look.
Static palpation
Hands on the spine at rest, feeling for swelling, tenderness, and changes in the tissue around it.
Motion palpation
Feeling the spine while it moves, to find which segments are genuinely stuck and which are fine.
X-ray analysis
Full-spine standing films confirm what is out of position and in which direction, so nothing is guessed.

Meet your chiropractor
Dr. Chris Cucullu
Anchorage, Alaska. Competitive hockey, then Iowa State for kinesiology, then Palmer College of Chiropractic. In practice since 2018, Gonstead and Webster certified.
“I ended up here because of my own neck. Years of hockey caught up with me and conventional care had nothing for it, so I went to see the chiropractor my family was already taking my brother to. I walked into a waiting room full of kids and older people talking and laughing, which was not what I expected, and I left after my first adjustment feeling like a switch had been turned on.”
“Your body is intelligent and designed to be healthy. Your nerve system is protected by the spine, and it controls and coordinates every part of your human experience.”More about Dr. Chris

Questions people ask before booking
Is there a Gonstead chiropractor near me in Palm Beach Gardens?
This is the only Gonstead practice in Palm Beach Gardens. Palm Beach County has three in total, and the other two are in Jupiter and Boynton Beach, so for most of the north county this is the closest one. If the specific method is what you are after, that is worth knowing before you drive.
Do you take my insurance?
No. We are not in network with any insurer, so you pay us directly, the same way you pay for most things. Plenty of the patients who have been here longest started out unsure about exactly that. Fees are set to what the care is worth, HSA and FSA funds work here, and there are monthly or pre-paid plans. Call and you will get real numbers before you book anything.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. A lot of people do exactly that, both for correcting a specific problem and for ongoing care.
What does it cost?
Dr. Chris gives pricing over the phone rather than publishing it, because what you need depends on what the exam and films show. You will have real numbers before you commit to anything, and there is $50 off the first visit if you mention where you found us.
Will I have to go forever?
No, and this is the misunderstanding Dr. Chris corrects most. Every patient starts on an initial plan of care aimed at correcting the problem, not just taking the edge off it. That plan comes from your findings and it has an end. What happens after correction is your choice, the same way it is with dental checkups.
Does an adjustment hurt? Are you cracking my bones?
No bones are being cracked, and nothing is being forced. The sound people associate with adjusting is gas releasing as pressure changes inside a joint, the same as a knuckle. A Gonstead adjustment is specific rather than forceful, and the force is scaled to the person on the table.
How is this different from other chiropractic?
Most chiropractic uses general manipulation to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve range of motion, and it helps a lot of people. The focus here is neuro-structural correction using the Gonstead method: a five-part analysis at every visit, thermography and full-spine films, and adjustment of only the segments the analysis identified, in the specific direction it indicates. Nothing else gets moved.
Why do I need X-rays, and are they taken in the office?
Films are referred out to one of three nearby imaging centers that take walk-ins, and they are ordered on the initial visit. They show how long the problem has been there, how much damage there is, how best to correct it, and they rule out anything that needs prompt medical attention instead. Films are repeated periodically if there is a new trauma or to check structural progress. They are not ordered for expecting mothers or newborns.
Do you adjust on the first visit?
In most cases yes, unless there is a time constraint or something in the exam says otherwise. You go for films, come back, and start the same day. The second visit is the report of findings, when Dr. Chris has objective response data from both the exam and that first adjustment.
Who we see it from
The office is in Palm Beach Gardens. People come from across the north end of the county, and from further than that for the method.
